What Maker, style and material are these pointes?

These shoes are a current style of this maker.

  1. Well, they're Capezio in red satin, that much is obvious... Doing further research, they look like Capezio Plie I or II.

  2. MMmmmmm ok Jill . Lovely shoes! Red Leather with a slight mod. at the vamp . Maker Capezio most likely model are the following two possible types. They are...The Elan and the Glisse. Both have the same box / toe profile as the picture . Mmmm are they yours ?

  3. Hey Jill, I believe they're Capezio Chasse' pointe shoes

  4. Hi Ben, welcome to my occasional pointe shoe quizzes!

Well, they are Capezios, that was a freebie and yes Paul they are leather and are mine. So, that's a good start!

But... they aren't Chasse', Elan or Glisse. The boxes of the Elan and Glisse are broader, while the box of these red shoes is more tapered. The boxes of the PliƩ I and II are a bit more tapered, but it's not one of those either, but that was a good guess Eric!

Hint: Click on the image to enlarge it and look at the row of stitching around and below the throat of the vamp on my red shoes. That is distinctive to the style of this shoe.

  5. Ok Jill ,, It 2am and the closest style on the Capezio page to the red shoes is the Contempora Style 176. It is the only one that comes close to the throat of the vamp. In any case you have some lovely feet ! Be well ..I going to bed now ! Caio

  6. On these red leather shoes there is a line of stitching around the throat of the vamp 5/8 inch below the drawstring casing. There is no line of stitching like that on Contempora style pointes.

  7. Those are your feet in those shoes?

  8. Your correct Jill ... Still I never would have guess based on the dance site I found . That you wear Aerial's! Why that shoe and not a pro series?

  9. I haven’t changed. I perform in SMU Freed Classics and use Capezio Glisse as bed-shoes and Gaynors for extended interval pointe-sex encounters as well as for business meetings because I like the support of the pre-arched shanks. The red leather Aerials are SMU with a shorter shank and outer sole rather than having a standard length shank three-quartered. I got them to see what they would be like. They are nice and I love the red leather, but I wouldn’t do it again! I got a pair in black too! I like to try different makers and styles of shoes w/o switching for serious performing or intense sex where I need the support that Gaynors will provide.

  10. do you do crush fetish as well?

Those red sms would clean up easy and would look nice for it.

  11. Hi! I'm not familiar with the term 'sms' used in this context, 'Sexy Masochistic Shoes' perhaps? I'm not usually into crush all that much though I have crushed a rapists testicles with the platforms of a pair of black satin Freed pointes.

  12. can you pop a balloon with the red ones, or crush a fat cigar out with them they are most attention grabbing

  13. I love my red leather Capezios! I wear them when I'm menstrual and then I do feel like crushing things with my platforms... I just do a double pirouette and what ever is under my platform is either powder or paste. Awesome! :-)

  14. so is that a yes or no for that request?

I kind of like to find out if in fact putting a cigar out en point will put it out faster then just stomping on it with ball of foot, since with pointe the weight is concentrated on smaller area, and cigars have a bit of resistance more then a ciggeret. That and I like the red leather its shiny, rare in pointe shoes, and more fire resistant then satin is, that is why I ask you.
Few trained dancers would have the bravery to perform the way you do. That is most ballerinas are all haughty toytee, and hate the very idea that guys like dancers, admire them for their hard art, and like how well it gets the ladies in shape, in soft shoes yet hard enough toes to break bone without breaking the dancers toes.

  15. Hi J, “I kind of like to find out if in fact putting a cigar out en point will put it out faster then just stomping on it with ball of foot”

I don’t know. There are so many variables, but I’ll tell you what, I’ll try it and see. I’m going to continue this as an entry item on the blog so the outcome won’t be buried in the comments.

  17. It's going to take a few tries and a few guys so I'm not going to clean things up enough to submit it to Science for publication or put it on YouTube. Look on the bright side, I'm going to try it and I'll use nice cigars.

  18. eh perhaps a photo or two on here?

It would be nice, it would be win win, and thrilling to my curiousity.

  19. Crushing en pointe should be fun, soo rare to see, at all let alone in Red Leather, so are you going to just step on it with your boxes, or are you going to spin on them too, I have done that even though its bad mannors to stomp a cigar out in the first place, but sometimes you feel like throwing rules to the wind just a little to have fun.

a video of it would sure be really tiltillating to see though, even just one.

  20. just one question, do the reds still look as nice as the ones in the picture or are they rather dirty and beat up as pointes do through use?

  21. There is the usual stage grime on the soles, heels and platforms and some softening of the blocks though I do re-harden them with glue.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I see, though I am sure they still shine unlike satins that hold the dirt cowhide can be wiped off a bit, I like the new pointe look a lot of the time. as long as they are not gross looking knowing about all your exploits you talk about lol.

also how bout just one tiny vid on your blog ?
    pleaz pleaz.

  23. so are you really that tiny jill at around 100 lbs, and shorter then 5'7?

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm 5'4" and my dancing weight is 105 lbs. I'm about 5'10" en pointe depending on which shoes I'm wearing.

  25. Dang you are small, I bet even I could pick you up off the ground. I hope you get lots of excercise to keep in shape to ward off all the nasty things that make just another day in sin city.

  26. J:

Jill gets a lot of exercise between her dancing (she at least does a class with her group in the mornings) and her sexual activities. She's a calorie-burning furnace!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yes but nothing beats doing running all out, except cross contry skiing and swimming all out without stopping.

you seem to know her as if you are a cliant Eric.

she just seems so tiny for a woman, I like that but she does stuff to herself that is extream like having sex with douphins. I cant say I agree with that or some of her practices, but what I do like is her openness to talk different issues, and the fact she is a trained dancer, and her choice in shoe coloration its hard to find more then just pink and black, let alone many in cowhide, and the fact she is not just some half hack stripper that you see on youtube that cant even stand on pointe or worse.

  28. J:

"you seem to know her as if you are a client Eric."

Well, I'm not a client. I do chat occasionally with her on Yahoo IM. However, if I were living in or around Vegas, I'd love to be an even better friend with her, maybe even a FWB.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I see, I sure wish I could get her to do the cigar crush on video afterall its my idea and curiousity, but have to stop nagging I guess.
Just hope for at least one photo of the experiment with foot en pointe on cigar.
